The "A Special Thanks from Wuthering Waves Dev Team" mail contains the item "Voucher of Reciprocal Tides x1." Following the Version 2.4 update maintenance, this item will become invalid, and its associated [Giveback Custom Convene] event will close. Be sure to claim and use the item before 2025-06-12 03:59 (UTC+8).
Version 2.4 will introduce a feature that allows Rovers who register after the release of Version 2.4 to obtain some of the rewards contained in the above mails by completing beginner quests.

New Feature: Echo Aspect
This feature allows you to apply Glide or Flight Aspects to your Resonators.
You can apply an Echo Aspect to the current Resonator or all the Resonators.
Glide or Flight Aspects do not affect Resonators' performance.

New Feature: Birthday Blessing
Set your date of birth via Terminal > Profile > Set Birthday.
Once you've set your date of birth and reached Union Level 2, the Birthday Blessing feature will be unlocked.
Log in on the day of your birthday or within 7 days after to receive a unique birthday surprise.
If you log in after the 7 days have passed but still within 30 days after your birthday, the gift will still be sent to you via Mail.
If your birthday has already passed when you finish the initial birthdate setting, you can still receive the birthday blessings and gift for the current year via in-game mail.
You can return to the birthday space anytime by using the Supermassive Birthday Cake in your Backpack.
You can go to your Backpack to put on the special birthday gift "The Stars that Shine For You."
Please note that your date of birth cannot be changed once set. Be sure to enter the correct date.

Visit the page via Terminal > Data Bank > Data Modification.
Use a Modifier to adjust the first Mainstat of an unenhanced 5-star Echo into the designated stat.
Echoes that have been modified will be locked automatically.
After Version 2.3 goes live, the following rewards will be provided to try out the Data Modification feature: Modifier x3, Crystal Solvent x2. To claim them, create a character and unlock the Mails feature before 2025-04-29 04:00 (UTC+8); the rewards will remain claimable until the next version update.
Adjustments to Boss Challenges and Nightmare Echo Challenges
Adjusted the respawn mechanics of Boss Challenges. After defeating an enemy, you can select between "Claim Rewards" and "Restart." If you select "Restart," the enemy will reappear immediately.
Adjusted the respawn mechanics of Nightmare Echo Challenges. After an enemy is defeated, it will respawn if you wait for a few seconds.
Adjustments to Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways
Adjusted the effects and descriptions of certain Metaphors. This adjustment will take effect when Version 2.3 goes live.
Adjusted the amount of Dreamscape Energy that can be obtained in certain situations, making them easier to obtain. Please note that this adjustment will take effect after 2025-06-02 04:00.

Optimized the quest guide for Echo Challenge: Clear Cloud.
Added Auto Sprint and Sustain Sprint
Enable the options via Settings > Controls.
With Auto Sprint enabled, your character will sprint automatically after sprinting for 1.5s.
With Sustain Sprint enabled, when your character has sprinted for a certain amount of time, the Sustain Sprint icon will appear. When the sprint is sustained, the control input is no longer required.

Added Mobile Selective Download
This feature is at the testing stage and will be available only on some Android and iOS devices.
Select between Full Resources and Basic Resources after installing or reinstalling the game.
Full Resources: Download all the available resources in one go.
Basic Resources: Basic Resources include only story resources for the early game. The remaining resources may be downloaded in the background as you play in the game.
Whether or not a selective download panel appears, the game will function normally once the required resources have been downloaded.
The options Full Resources and Basic Resources differ only in whether the cutscenes (MP4) are downloaded. They have no effect on your experience of the base game.
